Description
Join the City Club of Central Oregon for our May Forum. We will examine the steps taken over the past 30 years to help our communities combat fire at the urban interface and what steps are being taken going forward. Further, we will discuss the impacts wildfire and smoke are having on the Central Oregon economy. Whose responsibility is fire protection in our neighborhoods? How do we develop new housing and remodel in fire safe ways? How do we build resiliency into our urban-wildland interface? Can we prevent a megafire from happening here?
